SLOSC Tristan Wouters Selected to Boys Pro + ODP Team

Boys 2005 player Tristan Wouters was recently selected to the Pro + ODP 04 team for Cal South. This represents a huge accomplishment for him personally, and we would like to congratulate him on all of the hard work he has put in to reach this point.

Tristan attended two weekends of Cal South Pro + ODP tryouts, and was selected as the only boys 2005 player to make the 2004 team. Following his selection, the Cal South ODP team traveled to Arizona to compete against other ODP teams from other states. Tristan was selected as a starter in all 6 games and performed admirably, contributing to 6 consecutive wins, while conceding only one goal.

Most recently, Tristan was selected for the Pro + ODP B05 team, and is expected to be one of the leaders of that group moving forward.

Tristan represents many of the top qualities that SLOSC looks to develop in a player. As Tristan’s head coach Chris Gaschen says; “We as SLOSC and SLO Fire B05 want to congratulate Tristan for making the Cal South Pro+ ODP B04 team. This is a huge honor and a testament to the hard work and skill he has put in. Tristan has incredible skill, excellent integrity, and a high work ethic that will continue to take him places in the world of soccer. He represents everything our club strives for with honor and quality. Join me in congratulating him.”

We, as a club, are very proud of what Tristan has accomplished, and would like to congratulate him on the hard work required to get to this level of success. He, like many other SLOSC players have a very bright future ahead of them.
