STORM G01 CCSL U13 Spring League Champions

STORM G01 crowned U13 CCSL Spring League Champions…
take home second straight league championship

SLOSC STORM G01 finished strong defeating Bakersfield Aztecs “A” 4-0 and then Aztecs “B”, 9-0 on the last day of CCSL Spring League, to clinch the under thirteen bracket and take home a second consecutive league title. STORM also won the CSL Fall league title at 12-0-2.

STORM’s Bailey Frost garnered league scoring honors, as she led all team scorers with 20 goals… but it was STORM’s Angie Crozier that was the star on the last weekend, scoring five goals to lead her team to the final two victories. Much support up top throughout the year, came from Hayden Goodwin, who was unable to attend due to illness.

Sydney Frost, the league leading goalkeeper with just four goals allowed in league, shared the shutouts, with help from Maddie Fletcher. STORM’s defense was anchored by Addie New-Schmidt, the Outstanding Defender of the Year, and received support from Quinn Hamilton, Emma Holland, and Thea Ragsdale.
Ella Attala, who was unable to attend due to illness, was instrumental throughout the year at center and wide back.

STORM controlled the midfield with outstanding play from Molly Abroms, Emma Ruzius, Gabby Schroeter, Bella Garritano, Elena Grant, Raquel Kalpakoff and Alyssa Block. The G01 mids were able to get wide and attack the flanks on several occasions, creating multiple scoring opportunties.

STORM are 21-1-2 coming off the two league circuits and have been promoted to Silver in the Coast Soccer League, beginning in September. Congratulations to all the G01 U13 STORM Champions for another great season!
